Gaelic Grounds to host Kerry/Limerick NFL tie

The Gaelic Grounds in Limerick has emerged as the GAC's choice to host the NFL semi-final tie between Kerry and Limerick.

It had been mooted that Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Croke Park and Thurles were in line to stage the game, but it goes ahead in Limerick as part of a football/hurling double bill on Sunday week.

The other Div 1 semi-final beteen Galway and Tyrone will be played in Omagh because Tyrone won the toss for choice of venue.

Elsewhere, Donegal will play Down in Clones in the first Div 2 semi-final on the same day, while the other game between Kildare and Offaly will take place in Portlaoise.
