Dublin secure historic win

Waterford 2-11 Dublin 2-13

First half goals from Tomas McGrane and Liam Ryan set up Dublin for a historic win at Dungarvan in Division 1A of the NHL.

Dublin led by 2-12 to 0-3 at half-time and, despite only registering a single point in the second half, they fully deserved their victory.

Waterford fought back well in the second half, inspired by midfielder Eoin McGrath.

Their opening goal came on 61 minutes when Dave Bennett converted a penalty and Ken McGrath added another in injury time. But it was not enough to peg back the visitors.
