Paul Galvin: Colm Cooper still pivotal but keeping Mark O’Connor is key

On the day Marc Ó Sé confirmed his retirement from inter-county football, former Kerry star Paul Galvin expressed his view that Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper can prolong his career by another two or three years.

However, Galvin warned that Kerry can’t afford to lose future star Mark O’Connor, with the two-time All-Ireland minor medallist linked with several AFL clubs.

Galvin, 36, was asked if he had seen much of Kerry’s three-in-a-row All-Ireland winning minors.
