Having produced a fantastic team performance for 55 minutes, the Kildorrery players were out on their feet in the final stages of this IFC opening round clash at Rathcormac on Saturday but still did enough to survive a late Glanmire onslaught.

The game looked wrapped up midway through the second-half with Kildorrery leading by six points and a man to the good after Glanmire’s Martin Connolly was shown a straight red card for striking Liam McGrath.

But a Daniel Molden penalty brought Glanmire back into contention as the clocked ticked into injury time with just two points separating the teams.
