HQ finances soar with Etihad

The GAA announced a multi-million euro sponsorship deal with Etihad Airways yesterday at Croke Park.

The airline will sponsor the hurling championship for the next five years and also secured naming rights for the Skyline tourist attraction at Croke Park, which will open in June 2012.

“This strategic partnership is an example of the way we try to embed ourselves into the local culture of our destination markets and work with the local community,” said James Hogan, Etihad Airwayspresident and chief executive officer.
