St Finbarr’s top Division 1 of the Cork County Football League after they triumphed by 0-11 to 1-6 against city rivals Bishopstown on Friday night.

Roy Leahy and Robert O’Mahony each scored three points for the Barr’s, who now have two wins and a draw from three games played, while Paul O’Connor got the goal for Bishopstown, who had won both of their previous matches.

Douglas join the Town on four points after they were triumphant against Kiskeam on a 1-15 to 1-10 scoreline. Alan Cadogan scored the goal for Douglas as well as sharing the bulk of the points with Odhran Mulrooney while Cormac Dineen also got on the scoresheet. Billy Dennehy got Kiskeam’s goal with a penalty.
