We had a shocker, admits ‘gutted’ boss Fitzgerald

WATERFORD boss Davy Fitzgerald admitted his team “had a shocker” in yesterday’s Munster hurling decider but insisted they will fight back in the remainder of this year’s championship.

“We just had a shocker today,” he said.

“It is very hard to take. We are absolutely gutted. But we are not as bad as that. We are under no illusions as to what we have to do and we are not going to throw in the towel that easy.
