TYRONE supporters aren’t the only ones celebrating the All-Ireland success of Mickey Harte’s squad.

Bookmakers cash in on Tyrone victory

Bookmaking firm Boylesports last night revealed that the Red Hand victory had saved the company €500,000 with many customers having Kilkenny and Kerry in an All-Ireland double.

Boylesports spokesman Leon Blanche admitted: “A Kerry win would have been a disaster for us as everyone seemed to have backed the Kingdom. Tyrone’s win has saved us half a million and after the bashing we got from Kilkenny’s victory two weeks ago it was very welcome.”
