Formula 1: Williams dominate German practice
Williams duo Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya have topped the time-sheets during final practice ahead of the qualifying session for tomorrow's German Grand Prix.
Schumacher clocked a time of 1:39.188, three-tenths of a second ahead of his Colombian team-mate.
Ferrari's Michael Schumacher recorded the third-fastest time, with McLaren's David Coulthard in fourth. Nick Heidfeld was fifth in the Sauber and Rubens Barrichello sixth in the second Ferrari.
McLaren suffered a morning of misery in Hockenheim today, with both Coulthard and Mika Hakkinen having trouble with their cars.
Coulthard, who trails Michael Schumacher by 37 points in the Drivers Championship, lost control of his car 16 minutes into the final practice session this morning, sliding backwards into a gravel trap.
Earlier, in first practice, Hakkinen stalled twice in the pit lane, presumably due to a failure with the launch control system.
He then had to settle for ninth place in the standings after final practice.
