Talk about jobs for the boys. Only six of the 23 new junior minister positions are going to the girls/women.

The appointments also have a distinctly country and western look to them, only three (all Fine Gael) representing Dublin constituencies. Fianna Fáil gets 10 of the positions, Fine Gael eight, and there are five for the Independents.
