Readers' blog: Cork Ladies have done themselves proud
Records will show that Dublin are the All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Champions for 2018.
We need to acknowledge the outstanding performance of this relatively young Cork Ladies football team.
Immediately from the throw-in they demonstrated outstanding physical ability. They competed, with great determination until the final whistle against a far more experienced Dublin team.
These ladies have done themselves, their families, their clubs and county proud. Well done ladies you are an inspiration to all.
I have no doubt they will be back in Croke Park next year.
