Spectre of apathy

WE have become an apathetic country. Some are more worried about cancelling holidays than about the lives that are being carelessly destroyed all over the world. Sure, we have our protesters or those who join the marches without realising why they are marching.

We leave our politicians to make decisions for us and yet, with all our complaints, we will probably elect similar types again in the next election. I’m sure I could give countless more examples of why we are apathetic, but perhaps I am too apathetic to do so.
