County board puts off the younger players
The chairman showed up the shortcomings of the board in not arranging a special convention of all clubs to get an up-to-date decision on a matter of serious concern to our younger players whose commitment to the GAA could be adversely affected by this shameful under-hand subterfuge.
Shame on our club delegates who failed to stand up to this stroke-pulling. How were board delegates to congress mandated on other motions before congress?
Does anybody have regard for principle or integrity? Clubs should seriously consider the bona fides of their delegates who did not measure up to the demands of the occasion.
