A name in vain?

PERHAPS our esteemed Minister for the Gaeltacht, Eamon Ó Cuiv, should resume his own surname as Gaeilge before making historically embarrassing, and mistaken, corrections in the Kerry Gaeltacht.

A name in vain?

Since there is no letter ‘v’ in the Irish alphabet, Eamon (or Éamonn?) should resume the proud surname Ó Caoimh prior to making any other as Gaeilge pronouncements ex-cathedra.
