Numbers game

I MUST reply to the incredible letter from David J Daly (Irish Examiner, Jan 14) whinging about so called anti-hunt bias in a recent edition of the Irish Examiner.

Just because many people still turn out for this uncivilised, anachronistic sport does not mean it can ever be right or just.

This demeaning activity is well past its sell-by date. Surely an end to cruel sports would be the real hallmark of a true pluralist society - not the other way round?
