The right approach

NEW smoking regulations will come into effect in Malta on October 5. Unlike the dictatorial way they were implemented here, the Maltese government used commonsense.

Maltese bars, nightclubs and catering establishments will abide by the regulations, but they will have to set up a designated smoking room clearly identified with signs and ventilation to minimise the possibility of smoke reaching non-smoking areas.

This seems a lot healthier than having a large number of smokers in hospital after standing in the cold and rain.
