With or without you

I’M one of many U2 fans who could not ‘unscramble’ internet technology for a ticket to either of their Croke Park concerts this summer. It seems 160,000 were sold in 50 minutes.

What seems odd is that it was easier to buy a ticket in 1987 at the height of U2-mania, with a demand for only 100,000 tickets. The sale of six tickets per person is vulgar and insensitive - two should be the maximum.

It is going to be a profitable day for U2, and even more profitable for touts. For me, it’s back to the CD player with the volume turned up to 11.
