ON the Late Late Show last Friday night Gerry Adams gave yet another classic performance of evasive rhetoric.

The reluctance to provide visual proof of decommissioning, and Paisley’s ability to construct one obstacle after another against the reintroduction of power-sharing, shows how really serious these party leaders are about the Good Friday Agreement.
