Going by bus

I READ with interest your comparison of Ryan Air’s Cork-to-Dublin flight (single trip, €109.96 /3 hours, 3 mins) with the train (€63.30 / 3 hrs 49 mins).

I travelled to Dublin on the same day by ‘Airport Direct’ bus from Cork’s Patrick Street.

The fare was €12 return and the trip took four hours to Westmoreland Street in the centre of Dublin. We had a very comfortable bus and a 15-minute break at Urlingford.
