Build new schools to green standards

THE school building programme offers an opportunity to incorporate heating systems that are not fossil fuel dependent. Using wood pellet systems, geothermal systems or passive solar heating designs in our schools would:

* Reduce our dependency on fossil fuels;

* Reduce our carbon dioxide emissions;
