Colin’s InterMission is a bad break for the Irish film industry

I RECENTLY saw one of Colin Farrell’s latest movies, InterMission. Unlike Phonebooth, which I really enjoyed, InterMission brings down the tone of our so-called “vibrant capital”.
Colin’s InterMission is a bad break for the Irish film industry

The two best laughs involved a boy smashing a bus window to pieces and a young girl being tied to a bed where unspeakable things were done to her by her lover.

In my opinion, this film does very little to promote the Irish film industry.

I’m well aware that romantic Ireland is dead and gone, with O’Leary in his grave. This film gives an intermission to add another wreath.
