Stamp out rubbish

TO help meet the cost of refuse charges, local authorities should adopt an easy payment system by way of 50 cent stamps from all council offices.

Councils must try to help consumers, otherwise many roads, lanes and rivers will become dumping grounds.

This is already happening in some parts of Cork.
