Never was such an army of admirers ever mustered to tell a good man to go. Never did those calling for a resignation ever greet the news of the man’s acquiescence with greater sadness.
Nobody fisted the air or cheered, as the news sites starting to compete with each other to bring the news so many had said was inevitable.
