With the abundance of Irish Government sponsored 1916 anniversary events, is the nation being ‘sold a pup’, including the wrongness of setting up children to participate in pageants with men and woman in military regalia, members of organisations programmed to kill?

Is this Government sponsored initiative another diversion similar to the Gathering, yet another diversion so as not to address the mess the country is in?

The Government programme involving children partaking in pageants with military personnel in national schools should be discontinued. The glorification of war should be discouraged.
