He decries the breach of British sovereignty while opposition politicians use stronger

language in expressing their opinions on Mr Putin and his possible role in this murky episode.

But Mr Putin is not the only world leader with a penchant for extra judicial execution.

The lack of a similar reaction from the White House might reflect on their reluctance for

exhibiting blatant hypocrisy.

Since 2004, hundreds of civilians, including children, have been killed in a campaign of extra judicial executions in north-west Pakistan.

Yet one does not hear Mr Cameron shouting from the rooftops on the blatant violation of

Pakistani sovereignty.

The one common denominator in all of this is the doublespeak in the rhetoric from all sides.
