Flooding is an anomaly rather than climate

All perspective seems to be lost. From 1920 to 1930, extreme floods were a 1 in 2 year event putting the country on the cusp of famine for the first time in many decades. 1923, 1924, 1928, 1929, 1930, 1938, 1946, 1947, 1949 and 1950 all brought extreme levels of rainfall by any standards.

From 1920 to 1950, the type of flooding we are experiencing now (and much worse) was a 1 in 3 year event. Was this because of climate change?

Climate alarmists were excusing the big freeze ups of 2010 and 2011 as an ‘anomaly’ rather than a trend, now they are seeking to connect the current weather events to climate change, when it is in fact an anomaly resulting from El Nino.
