Terrorists could yet strike on these shores

In view of the horrific Paris attacks, should our Government not reconsider its decision to allow 4,000 refugees from Syria and other countries into Ireland?

While I have the greatest sympathy for these people, it isn’t beyond the realms of possibility that ISIS may have activists among the refugees.

If refugees are admitted they must be thoroughly vetted. It is the primary duty of our Government to protect Irish citizens.

As an ex-pilot I don’t see the need for military aircraft to refuel at Shannon.

The US military have airbases in the UK and other European countries in range of aircraft crossing the Atlantic.
