Refugees can help finish ghost estates

The 2011 census revealed we have 289, 451 vacant properties and of these 59,395 were classed as holiday homes.

Many of these houses are in ghost estates from Mayo to Dublin.

They haven’t gone away and can be used to house refugees and we can give them the tools to finish the work.

This would give the migrants a massive project to work on.

If Germany can resettle 800,000, Ireland can resettle 5,000 in our 100,000 spare houses.
