Refugees can help finish ghost estates
We have an over supply of 120,000 which can be checked on irelandafternama.wordpress.com.
Many of these houses are in ghost estates from Mayo to Dublin.
They haven’t gone away and can be used to house refugees and we can give them the tools to finish the work.
After all Japanese women rebuilt most of urban Japan after the Second World War as David McWilliams has pointed out.
This would give the migrants a massive project to work on.
If Germany can resettle 800,000, Ireland can resettle 5,000 in our 100,000 spare houses.
