Third attempt to reform bail laws

Gardaí are to get new powers to arrest suspects who breach bail conditions under the terms of a bill published yesterday.

Restrictions will also be placed on convicted offenders who are granted bail while they appeal.

That should be good news for law-abiding citizens.
