Domestic abuse victims need peer support

I’m a retired US detective, with 27 years’ service.

Recently, an advert for an advocacy service on domestic violence (“women supporting women”) caught my attention. I attended the meeting. There was advice on safe housing, legal matters, financial management and on adult and child counselling. I wish to commend Jo Cregan, John Halligan, TD, and partners.
