Murders like Karen’s are too common everywhere

I was searching on the internet for the name of the young Irish girl killed in Scotland.

I went to Google and as I was typing in “Irish girl killed in...”, I looked up at the search section and saw Japan, Mauritius, Turkey, Melbourne, Canada and Wales, which popped up as suggestions. The girl in Canada was killed by a bear; the other girls were killed by men. The reason I was looking at Google was to get Karen Buckley’s age.

I am very upset with what happened in Scotland. I went through the same thing when my cousin (aged 22) went missing in the similar circumstances.

We, as a family, looked everywhere with no luck. Then, after two weeks, her body was found by a hiker. The killer was never caught.

I feel for the parents and family of Karen. It was not their fault or hers. She was killed by an evil person who should not be forgiven.
