Irish must look to a new politics post water charges

After years of being walked on and abused, we the people have shown the world that the Irish have not lost the spirit of 1916.

How different will the situation be in 2015 when we get rid of this bunch?

What we are looking at now is the continuation of 1916’s unfinished business. There has to be a complete overhaul of the Oireachtas with its obscene wages, unvouched for expenses, excessive pensions and unnecessary perks.

We must amend Article 10 of the 1937 Constitution to ensure that future generations have full control over our natural resources of oil, gas, water, the land and the sea. Our Government has given away everything to multinationals and to the EU without the permission of the people.
