EU seems intent on war with Russia

Regarding the chaotic situation in Ukraine, the treachery and delusion of the European Union is plain for all to see: firstly, by backing the violent overthrow of a democratically elected president, Viktor Yanukovych; secondly, by signing an association agreement with Ukraine in the middle of a civil war; and, thirdly, by supporting president Petro Poroshenko in Eastern Ukraine.

EU seems intent on war with Russia

This reckless, conniving ‘diplomacy’ is lunacy when the association agreement with the EU had been rejected by Yanukovych in November, 2013. Why didn’t European leaders insist on democratic, peaceful means to oust the sitting president, given that elections were due in March 2014? If Ukraine voted for some other pro- Russian president, in a peaceful environment, there would have been no association agreement. The EU’s backing of neo-Nazis in Kiev provoked Crimea to secede from Ukraine and to rejoin with Russia. Crimeans’ use of the ballot box has been presented in the West as Russian aggression, but many independent observers remarked that their referendum was free and fair. The EU is ramping up sanctions on Russia, while moaning about how sanctions are destroying the EU’s own fragile economy. With idiots like these in power, who needs enemies? As for MH17: All we’ve seen and heard since July 17 is zero evidence, but incessant, Russia-phobic, Putin-obsessed propaganda. Where is the technical evidence? Where is the audio between MH17 and Kiev air traffic control? The silence is deafening. Even if pro-Russian separatists did (unintentionally) shoot down MH17, it is worse that the EU is cheerleading Kiev to bomb civilians in Eastern Ukraine. Our loss in exports is nothing compared to war with Russia. If there is war, we can thank our membership of the EU.
