As any marketing executive worth their iPad will tell you the best way to influence parents is to enlist their children as agitators for whatever cause you’re paid to advance.

Sometimes this process can be a tad sinister and underhand but not always so.

The news that a community-based initiative has greatly increased awareness around fire safety in the home cannot but be welcomed. So too the knock-on effect — firefighters are now more able to respond to cardiac emergencies.
