Tolerance for all
First of all I must agree with Michael that the bakery in the North was targeted. It was known for its Christian ethos so it was a simple way to get plenty of publicity.
However, I must disagree with his statement that the majority of people are in favour of same-sex marriage.
People believe that there should be equality for all, but there can be no such thing as same-sex marriage. For thousands of years and in most countries of the world marriage means male and female coming together in union with the possibility of children.
As a practicing Catholic I have no problem with same-sex unions.
We Christians should be tolerant of an ever-increasing secular society, but where is the tolerance for people who want to stand up for what they believe in?
