I am paying for the State

So the State has been found wanting again, as per the European Court of Human Rights.

Who is ‘the State’? The State is me, you and every citizen in this country.

It is not some ivory tower in Dublin occupied by mini gods, sitting around a table with bottomless pockets of money. As a retired nurse, a PAYE worker with a full service, of 40 years, I am on a modest pension.
