Greed goes on and on

Recently, the media has highlighted the level of greed and immorality regarding money, salaries, etc, that still abounds in Ireland today.

We’ll be glad to note that such values know no class or gender. A notice observed in a GP’s waiting room read, “patients with two complaints must make two appointments”.

The old saying, ‘Put a beggar on horseback and he’ll ride to hounds’, springs to mind.
