This country needs a reform party

I am a simple man with simple needs but I lose the grip on this thought sometimes as survival gets in the way.

This country needs a reform party

To remain happy and simple is not so easy as there is but a thin slip of paper between the last Government and the present one in terms of policies.

Our leader and his Government have left the vulnerable, the weak and the poor of this beautiful country down. Are they all blind to the profound problems within our midst — suicide, homelessness, emigration, unemployment, depression?

The Constitution should be for all the people of this state. Regarding accountability, government and bankers — financial institutions, gardaí and top civil servants and anyone in public authority must all be accountable for their actions.

Most politicians’ priorities are in this order — me first, party second and country last.

They are so preoccupied that they are inattentive to the country’s real problems.

We need a reform party in this country, but with this party we would need an inspirational leader who is not afraid of the old boys’ club.

Do we need our young people to suffer anymore?

This country has great potential.

We must stand up once and for all and shout stop. ‘Enough is enough’.
