Sting in the tail in this tale of deception
While I wish Ms Drohan well in her chosen career, I hope her future output will show a little more reflection and maturity.
I wonder if she considered the possibility that the one certainty that can be taken from her article is her ability to tell lies.
She presented to seven doctors, as a patient unknown to them, reported to them a series of symptoms centered around stress, arising from approaching final year exams, and seems to take issue with their efforts to provide her with assistance which might alleviate the reported symptoms in the required rapid time-frame.
She then proceeds to pick apart what she considers to be deficiencies in their care of her, while neglecting to emphasise the āstingā element of her posing as something she is not, and her wasting the time of otherwise-busy professionals.
I hope Ms Drohan will, in future, use her skills to report true stories, rather than utilising deception.
Otherwise, I shudder to think what her next project might be.
I certainly hope she can restrain herself from approaching the gardaĆ with false crime reports, in order to write about their response.
