Let’s hear it, Michael D

Enda Kenny should not be dragged, kicking and screaming, to the altar of apology.

After all, he’s not the head of state — Michael D Higgins is, and was elected, by the people of Ireland, to be our President.

Michael D should make a proper, articulate, and sincere apology, on behalf of the State; this would be a stark contrast to the Taoiseach.
