Farmer under threat of eviction needs support

Mr Sherlock has barricaded the entrance to his home and is manning this barricade 24/7 with the help of family and neighbours. They have shown extraordinary resilience for 100-plus days and nights already. They have no idea when this will end as the bank’s standard response is “we are looking into our options”.

Mr Sherlock only finds himself in this predicament because he had to shut down his turf-cutting business in 2006 due to EU regulations.
