Croke Park II - A new deal must end inequities

It seems to have become a matter of unquestionable faith that the Croke Park deal is a good thing, a process that promotes stability and equity.

It seems that view is so strongly held that the agreement, possibly with modifications that will not threaten pay or jobs, may be renewed.

The deal has become such a sacred cow that it is, as the four dissident Fine Gael deputies who voiced their considerable and rational concerns in this newspaper discovered, almost unchallengeable.
