People have a right to comment

Donal Kennedy, (Letters, Nov 17) suggests that people await the coroner’s report before commenting on the Galway case.

We have been waiting 20 years for action on the X case and many years on the A, B, and C cases, so people have a right to comment now and not keep quiet any longer.

When women present at maternity hospital, or any other hospital, they expect their care to be based on the best medical practise, not on guidelines from somebody else’s Church.
