Mr Cunningham implies the Queen’s gloved handshake with McGuinness was not as cordial as the ungloved one with Alex Salmond.

I have it on good authority that McGuinness went to Specsavers, and was issued with ‘contact’ gloves. It’s not worth starting a war over, but I must praise good observation. It was still a remarkable historical event.
