Very damaging material

I am writing to express my horror at the article written by Dr Tony Humphreys and published in your newspaper (Feelgood, Feb 3).

It is grossly inaccurate and demonstrated a clear ignorance of the most basic understanding of autism and ASD. It is hugely hurtful to parents and very damaging to all persons with autism.

I have been reading The Irish Examiner for years and am horrified that a paper I respect and enjoy could print this discriminatory and inaccurate, not to mention very damaging, material.
