Absolute intolerance

IF the sophistication of a society can be measured by its tolerance and treatment of minorities, then we must be a very unsophisticated and ignorant people. The onslaught on minority taxi drivers in Cork, Galway, Ennis and Dublin must go down in the annals of contemporary history with shame.

Absolute intolerance

This is not about racism, homophobia, xenophobia. This is about absolute intolerance. A desire to maintain the status quo and a refusal to behave as decent human beings. Of course, this appalling situation could be halted immediately should queue-jumping (to the nearest white taxi driver) be outlawed immediately as an act of racism.
