Shocking stance on pay

I WAS shocked and disappointed at Simon Coveney’s stance on the public service income on Tonight with Vincent Browne. He said if public servants were capped at €100,000 a year they would leave. Where would they go?

The biggest employers in the country are the retailers. The majority of their employees are earning €25,000.

Highly skilled workers in the private sector would be lucky to have €50,000 with the cuts over recent times. I though Simon would be a fair-minded person representing south Cork. I was wrong.
