Forget the ‘spin’ and tell us the truth

I COULD not believe it when I read Ivan Yates (August 4) recommending to Government that to be successful it needed to indulge in ‘superb spin’.

Was it not past ‘superb spin’ and ‘creative communications’ that told us that all in the garden was rosy when in fact the country was bankrupt?

How about just telling us the truth?
