Losing the plot over wasted garden money

I AM just interested to learn Diarmuid Gavin is getting over €2.5m for a garden in the Chelsea Flower Show.

Even in the boom times only the very wealthy could afford Diarmuid Gavin.

Have Cork County Council, Fáilte Ireland and Minister Leo Varadkar lost the plot completely? I run a small business here in Douglas and pay my rates to the council which, in these hard times, is not easy. If this goes ahead, I swear I will never pay my rates again. What a waste of money.
