What a waste

WHY aren’t political parties supporting Irish jobs by using Irish-made panelboard in their billboards instead of the cheap throwaway Chinese plywood that I see dotted around the Irish landscape?

Chinese plywood is known to be the result of illegal logging, which is having devastating effects on bio-diversity, communities and contributing to climate change.

Layoffs in the Irish panelboard industry can be avoided by buying Irish-made product and it is also FSC-certified. All our politicians are telling us of the thousands of jobs they will create if elected.

What about supporting current Irish jobs?
